What is HiltonHeadRenter.com?
We are a vacation rental listing service focused on owners of Hilton Head properties. Our service will help you expand the marketing reach of your rental property online and showcase it to potential vacationers.

How does it work?
Vacationers interested in Hilton Head Island will visit our site to search for the appropriate rental. When they find one they like and want more information, you, the owner, will receive an email. You can then contact the vacationer directly to work out the details of the transaction.

How many photos can I add to my listing?
Your annual subscription fee allows you to display up to 10 photos.

Does this replace my rental agency?
No. Our service is a marketing service that will generate more leads for your condo. These leads will come directly to you, the owner. You still need your rental agency for maintenance, keys, and additional marketing efforts.

Should I list my property on other sites?
Yes. To get maximum exposure for your property, we would recommend listing it on a couple of high quality sites.

I already have a website for my property. Can I link my listing to this website?
Absolutely. During the signup process you will be asked for this information.

Do you provide an online availability calendar?
Yes, via Rentors.org. Rentors.org offers a free availability calendar that you can use for all your vacation listing sites. Simply signup at www.rentors.org and record your Calendar ID #. During the signup process you will be asked for this information.

How much does your service cost?
A one year listing is $119/year.

How do I make my property stand out? What is a Featured Property?
A limited number of owners will be allowed to upgrade their properties to Featured Properties. Featured Properties are showcased on the home page (example) as well as the appropriate Island area pages (example).

Featured properties will also be at the top of the list after a vacationer searches for a property. You can register your property as a Featured Property for an additional $36/year.

Does HiltonHeadRenter.com collect rental income or manage keys?
No. We focus on marketing your property online. We do not get involved in any of the transaction details. When a vacationer expresses interest in your property, you will receive an email and you (or your rental agency) are then responsible for completing the transaction.

How did HiltonHeadRenter.com get started?
We own a vacation condo on Hilton Head and decided to do some extra marketing online. The results were phenomenal! We were able to rent a majority of our weeks without the assistance (and extra commissions) of our rental agency. We wanted to share this success with other property owners so they could generate more leads too!
