When vacationing here, you will instantly notice a melding of the house and the environment. To maximize the views, this Sea Pines oceanfront home is an upside down house, meaning the main living areas are on the second level. The lower level is designed as a sweep out. As soon as you enter this house you will feel the natural surroundings. Old brick makes up the foyer floor while heart of pine covers the remaining rooms. To complete natural feel, the walls are wormy cypress. The dramatic beachfront beyond immediately captivates the eyes, and will give you a soothing feel.
On the entry level is a comfortable media room that opens to the lower deck and pool area. A dramatic feature of this room is the large brick fireplace. Off the side of the media room is an office nook. Even with a fax machine and dedicated computer line, you may find it difficult to accomplish any work as the views from here are grand. Also on this level is the married with children suite. The main bedroom consists of a swing king with a private exit to the pool, while the childrens room has bunks. The bedrooms share a remodeled and sumptous bathroom complete with towel warmers.
A simple yet elegant stairway leads to the main living and sleeping areas. The main living room is bright with natural light, roomy and comfortably appointed. You will notice a second brick fireplace, and the original artwork adorning the walls. A wall of glass enables some outstanding oceanfront views, adding to the feel of the outside being an integral part of the house.
There are two guest suites and the master suite on this level. The master and one of the guest suites lead to decks, both with the views you have come to expect.
The screened porch and deck that runs the length of the home is a definite focal point, and has numerous access points. Overlooking the Sea Pines Beach, it is a place that beckons you to relax.. What a spot to catch the sunrise light up the oceanfront, or enjoy an evening meal listening to the surf come ashore.
A manicured but natural appearing back yard, complete with an unobtrusive swimming pool, leads to one of the Islands best beach areas. Even during the high tide there is ample sand. For the children there is a playground area complete with a sandbox and a tree house. This Sea Pines beach home is meticulously maintained, and yet family friendly. As an added bonus there is a complimentary mid week clean.
